In this piece, I’ve portrayed a woman lying on the floor, bearing the weight of life’s challenges, while above her, two rabbits engage in a whimsical and mysterious gambling game. This tableau explores the theme of hidden burdens and the unseen struggles that many individuals face. It was originally conceived for a picture book I’m crafting for my sister, as a testament to the complex nature of our existence. In this artwork, by inviting viewers to ponder the mysterious layers of human experience, I aim to create a sense of wonder and contemplation.
