Creators, rejoice! Inktober is back in full swing for 2024, and The Phoenix wants your submissions.
If you’re unfamiliar with Inktober and how it works, we’ve got you covered. Time for a quick history lesson.
Inktober began as a trend among artists on social media in which each day in October is assigned a one-word prompt. Artists would then complete a small ink drawing coinciding with each prompt on their respective days.
As the phenomenon spread across the Internet, writers joined in on Inktober as well, using the prompts as a basis for short stories, poems, and other daily written works.
Now, it’s your turn! We want to see your Inktober creations, no matter what form they take. Use our submissions form to send us your work, and be sure to tag it with the “Inktober” category so we can feature you on our Inktober 2024 page.
